Henry Hyde started AXA Advisors, LLC in 1859 as Equitable Life Assurance Society of America. Within its first ten years of operations, Equitable Life Assurance Society of America has the highest level of new business than any other company in the world. This company continued to stretch the boundaries of the financial world by paying death claims in 1881 through the creation of the first joint and survivor annuity as well as the first to provide variable life insurance in 1976 through individual variable annuity products. One of the most impressive moves that Equitable Life Assurance Society of America made was their conversion to the AXA Group in 1992 that changed this mutual company into a stock company, which is known today as AXA Advisors, LLC.

Senior Executive Vice President of AXA Advisors, LLC, Vincent Parascandola has been a key member in AXA Advisors success. Mr. Parascandola has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry with over 10 years of that experience at AXA Advisors. Mr. Parascandola began his career as a Systems Analyst at Irvin Trust Company in 1986. He stayed at the company for two years prior to taking a position as an Agent at Prudential Insurance. In 1990, Mr. Parascandola left Prudential and took a position as a Financial Professional at Mony Group where he held several management positions from 1990 to 2005. Mr. Parascandola is currently responsible for sales, management development, recruiting, retention, productivity and the development of new and experienced financial professionals at AXA Advisors.
Throughout his career, Mr. Parascandola has received various management awards ranging from the GAMA’s Career Development to the Master Agency Award. In 2014, Mr. Parascandola had the privilege of presenting the commencement speech at his alma mater Pace University, New York where he received his Bachelor of Science. Mr. Parascandola demonstrated AXA Advisors dedication to the community when he presented the commencement speech at his alma mater. AXA Advisor provides an AXA Achievement Scholarship for over 1.4 million to student throughout the nation. This scholarship program is part of the AXA Foundation that also provides parents and students guidance on how to pay for college. Additionally, the AXA Foundation engages in AXA local communities across the country by awarding grants to nonprofit organizations and has matched 1.577 million contributions made by AXA professionals through the AXA Hearts in Action.
