After completing his education at Pontifical Catholic University and later Sao Paulo University, Cassio Audi has moved easily into the world of finance as a leading investment specialist for a number of the world’s leading banks and investment institutions. The history of Cassio Audi has seen him head in many different career directions prior to his arrival as one of Brazil’s leading financial specialists, including a short but memorable career in the 1980s as the drummer in one of the most famous and successful Brazilian heavy metal bands of all time.
Cassio Audi is one of the founding members of Viper, the cult heavy metal band that grew into one of Brazil’s most successful musical exports. Viper were formed in 1985 by a group of teenage friends who shocked the world with their skills as musicians and lyricists as they created some of the best known heavy metal songs in the history of Brazilian music; Cassio Audi and his fellow members of Viper created their first studio album, “Soldiers of Sunrise” and were praised by critics for their impressive skills as musicians for a group of teenage band-mates from Brazil.
The band were formed in 1985 by Yves and Pit Passorell who shared a love of British heavy metal music, particularly the music of Iron Maiden, who influenced both the music and lyrics of the band over their early years. Through his work as a drummer for Viper, Cassio Audi became well known to heavy metal fans across the planet for his appearances on “The Killera Sword” recordings before leaving Viper to concentrate on his burgeoning career as an investment and financial specialist.
