Sarah Killion Joins the U18 Women's National Team

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fever U17 player Sarah Killiion has been invited to join the US U18 Women’s National Team. Sarah will travel to Boulder, Colorado from July 9th - July 16th to take part in a training camp with the tea

"I'm so proud of Sarah for earning this invitation to the national team pool.  It's a well-deserved honor for someone who has already shown herself to be an impact player at every level she has played. Sarah is a very gifted player, very sound in her technical ability, and will certainly take this opportunity to challenge herself to reach yet another level. She has worked so hard from the day I was introduced to her several years ago until now.  Sarah strives to make herself and her teammates better and I have no doubt she will give nothing less than her absolute best, and I'm confident that no matter the result, she's going to gain some tremendous experience that will benefit her.  It has been a pleasure to have been part of Sarah’s overall development as a player and on behalf of the club we all wish her success" - Matt Chura .

"What a great way to launch our 2009/10 tryouts, by announcing that one of our players has been slected to the US Women’s National Team. Sarah has played in all age groups and played in the W-League as a 15 year old, showing that age is not a barrier. We have the right development model here at the Fever and that is why all the teams and levels we offer contribute to player development. Sarah has played for the regular club team, Super Y-League team and the W-League team, it all helped her get to where she is today." - Ian McMahon, Fever CEO/ Technical Director.
