The 2 teams very formidable teams were destined for a rematch in the finals which meant the Fever girls would have to beat a very strong team 2 consecutive days to bring home the championship. Trailing 3-2 midway through the championship match the girls took control with 3 consecutive goals and a 5-3 win in the rematch to earn the Championship trophy at the Cleveland Indoor Tournament.
Congratulations also to our Fever ’99 girls who were finalists at the Cleveland Indoor tournament.
"We want to play high level competition as much as possible especially starting at the younger ages. We may not always come away victorious on the scoreboard, but we will develop as players, and our teams quickly learn what it takes to compete against the best. Cleveland certainly brings out the best in us; win or lose, it always makes us better." General Manager, Scott "Bo" Hunter
