The former Manchester City Manager Roberto Mancini has stepped up efforts in an attempt to lure Yaya Toure to join him at Inter Milan. The Ivorian midfielder has two years left on his contract with Manchester City. Mancini, who managed City for four years, leading them to win the Barclay Premier League in 2012, knows very well that Toure played a crucial role for City finishing at the top the table.
Mancini believes that Toure would consider joining Inter Milan next season with City struggling to chase Chelsea FC in the Barclays Premier League title race. However, Manuel Pellegrini, the current City Manager has spoken a number of times insisting that Toure will not be leaving Etihad anytime soon. However, this is not stopping Mancini with his efforts of reuniting with his former midfielder. According to ESPN FC, there are reports indicating that Toure would be interested in looking for new challenges come this summer. Yaya Toure has played in almost all leagues in Europe apart from the Bundesliga and Serie A, and Tribuna could see him moving back to one of them.
